Open access is a new pattern for academic exchanges,encouraging free communication of scientific information.On the basis of analyzing major problems that open access are faced with,it makes a probe into the ways of promoting open access movement in China by raising the social acknowledgement,developing open access journals,establishing open access repositories,and enhancing the construction and maintenance of the databases with the purpose of promoting scientific information sharing in China and building a favorable environment for Chinese scientific research.
