马头山羊品种特性及其杂交利用分析

[目的]研究马头山羊品种特性及其杂交利用情况,为马头山羊的改良及品种特性研究提供参考。[方法]在湖北主产区对马头山羊的选育历史、体型外貌、生产性能及杂交利用等进行调查、观察、统计、分析。[结果]结果表明,湖北马头山羊具有个体大、生长快、繁殖率高、育肥性能好,屠宰率和净肉率高、肉质好、适应性强、耐粗饲等特点。与波尔山羊经济杂交,杂种优势明显。[结论]马头山羊具有典型的肉皮兼用以肉用为主山羊品种的特点。波尔山羊对改良马头山羊的生产性能具有很好的效果。

[ Objective ] The study aimed to study the variety characteristics and the cross utilization of Matou goat, providing references for the improvement and variety characteristic study of Matou goats. [ Method] The breeding history, body conformation, production performance and cross utilization were studied by means of investigation, observation and statistical analysis in the major production area in Hubei Province. [ Result] The results showed that Matou goats had larger individual, fast growth, high reproduction rate, good finishing performance, high dressing percentage and net meat percentage, good meat quality, strong adaptability and crude feed tolerance. Hybridization between Boer goats and Matou goats could produce obviously hybrid vigor. [ Conclusion] Matou goats have a typical variety characteristics of meat and skin dual purpose, especially meat. Boer goats can improve significantly production performance of Matou goats.
