The Semantic Constraints on the Reference of Ziji(自己) and Its Cognitive Explanation

本文主要从语义、认知角度研究"自己"的语义所指,在以往从语义、语用等角度对"自己"所指情况进行研究的基础上,对这一问题进行了探讨,通过分析连接两个"自己"有可能回指的名词和"自己"之间关系的动词来解决这一问题。本文将动词从利益损益角度分为"受益动词"和"受损动词",然后从动词所体现的动作主体之间的利益关系这个角度来确定"自己"的所指情况。

Based on the previous semantic and pragmatic studies of ziji, this article mainly probes into the reference of ziji from the perspective of cognitive and semantics. We divided the verbs that connect ziji and its two noun anaphora into ＂benefit verb＂ and ＂ maleficent verb ＂ according to the benefits and losses. And then the reference of ziji is determined on the basis of the interest relation between the action subjects embodied in the verb.
