An Analysis on Application of Rotary Kiln to Incineration and Disposal of Medical Wastes

医疗机构的医疗废弃物种类繁多，有固体废弃物、废液、废水等，有毒有害且具有很大的危险性，如果处置不当，医疗废弃物极易危害公众的健康并造成环境的污染。阐述了回转窑焚烧炉焚烧医疗废弃物的优先性；分析了其工艺特点、主要设备等；指出其具有较好的密封性和适应性，可以保证环境的安全卫生，是医疗废弃物无害化、减量化处理最直接，有效的方法，同时能利用焚烧产生的余热达到资源综合利用。

Medical organisations generate a variety of wastes including solid and liquid that are highly toxic and harmful. If disposed of improperly, the medical wastes would be detrimental to public health and the environment. A rotary kiln incinerator adopted in incinerating medical wastes as priority was presented. With better airproof and adaptive characters, it could ensure the safety and environmental sanitation. It was the most direct and effective way to reduce the volume of medical wastes and to avoid their harmfulness. At the same time, the spare heat brought from the incinerating could be comprehensively used.
