A Study on Gaseous Mercury Emission from Coal-Fired Power Plants in Shanghai

摘要 燃煤电厂是主要的人为汞排放源之一,也是上海城市范围内最大的大气汞排放点源。耗煤量、煤汞含量、燃烧装置的结构以及空气污染控制装置的协同除汞能力是影响燃煤电厂大气汞排放的主要因素。文章利用历年的统计数据和美国环境保护局的经验值筛选出汞排放的影响因子,粗略估算了上海燃煤电厂的大气汞年排放量,从空气污染控制装置的协同除汞效果.改进颗粒物控制装置、提高烟气脱硫系统的汞捕集能力、投加粉末状活性碳的除汞效果等方面,分析了空气污染控制装置的除汞效果及其改进方法。 Coal-fired power plant is one of the major anthropogenic sources of mercury release, as well as the main point source of gaseous mercury emission in Shanghai city. Coal consumption, mercury content, boiler structure and co-benefit of air pollution control (APC) equipment are key factors significantly regarding the gas- eous mercury emission from coal-fired power plants. Based on the historical statistical data and empirical values from U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), the impact factors on mercury release have been identified and a rough estimation on the annual gaseous mercury emission from coal-fired plants in Shanghai was given. The efficiency and improvement on mercury removal of APC equipment were analysed in following four aspects including co-benefit of APC equipment, improvement of particulate matter (PM) controls, enhancement of mercury capture efficiency in flue gas desulphurisation (FGD), and the mercury removal of injecting oowdered activated carbon (PAC)
