This article illustrates how a premises distributed system is designed in the intelligent buildings. The illustration of the system design is based on the following aspects, demand analysis, system design considerations, system function and principles of system design. As for the different subsystems, the design plans are discussed in detail and illustrated by diagrams. Finally, a prediction is given on the development trend of premises distributed system.
