语言是文化的一部分,没有语言这种特殊的文化,整个人类文明的发展是不可想象的。同时文化的发展又影响语言的发展,不同的文化因素与跨文化交流会影响到语言的不同层面,小到词汇、语音,大到句法篇章结构。《红楼梦》这部中国古典鸿篇巨著如一条文化长廊为语言受文化影响提供了例证。

Language belongs to culture. The development of whole human civilization is unimaginable without the participation of language. At the same time, the development of culture exerts influence on the development of language. Different cultural factors and levels affect language from vocabulary and pronunciation to syntax and text. The influence of intercuhural transmission not only exists in the material level, but also affects language development. A Dream of Red Mansion, a great Chinese classic novel, provides the evidence that culture has influence on language.
