摘要 “就你老资格吗?别人都站起来,你为什么坐着?”怒气骤然纠结在周晓光冷冷的脸上,她有些不近人情地咆哮着。本来就沉闷的空气,顿时让人有些喘不过气来。这一幕发生在2008年11月9日晚的新光集团首届高管大会上,发怒的是义乌饰品企业新光集团董事长周晓光,某高管的懈怠引爆了她的情绪。 46-year-old Zhou Xiaoguang,president of Zhejiang Neoglory group took a deep breath on his way to Haide Hotel where his birthday celebration will soon be held,since what he was seeing on the street were dreary factories and stores marked'waiting for transfer'. According to Yiwu governmental data, almost 30% accessories companies closed due to the increasing cost of raw material and labor plus global financial storm.Almost 20% companies in Yiwu have already ended up or stopped production.Zhou could not imagine how hard it would be if Neoglory failed to transform itself from accessories wholesaler to retailer and from producer to brand manager since 2005. Neology is still alive despite the fact that 30% or more accessories companies died already. However.recent financial crisis will have deeper impact in 2009 or later and most manufacturing enterprises with the business model of'export +domestic sale'and'wholesaler-dominance'will suffer more during the process.How to transform themselves to retailers or brand managers and how to develop sustainably? It is popular for companies to flee away from their main business and invest diversely nowadays.Neoglory,with the total assets of RMB 5 billion and annual sale less than RMB 3 billion,also dreams of becoming the next Fosun, although its practice still seems tottering. Easier said than done.It is certain that Zhejiang entrepreneurs' fate will be closely connected with the industrial transform.
