The Industry and Commerce of Foshan during the Guangzhou National Government

广州国民政府时期,佛山的工商业发展有几种情况:有些行业走向衰退甚至消亡;有些行业通过转型得以生存;有些行业继续沿原轨迹发展,其中有些行业发展最好的时期是建国前。与此同时,还出现一些新兴行业和采用机器生产的工业。

During the Guangzhou National Government led by the Kuomintang, Foshan＇s industry and commerce fell mainly into three kinds： Some trades went downhill and disappeared; some survived by economic transformation; some continued to develop along the previous track, some of which even developed most before the foundation of New China. Meanwhile, some new trades appeared, esp. machine-manufacturing industries.
