Auction activity can be replaced by similar function online auction, in which consumers on web may buy many their fond commodities freely. The article introduces a online auction based on ADO, which adopts ASP to exploit web pages and Microsoft SQL Server as database. Main functions of online auction system have salers issuing and updating goods information, buyers purchasing goods, and administrators managing auction information and users. Test shows that the system runs well.
