An Estimate Method of Vehicle Speed Based on the Motion Track of Vehicles

车速检测在交通信息采集中具有非常重要的作用,到目前为止,已经有许多检测方法被提出。该文提出一种计算方法,利用视频图像处理技术进行运动车辆的检测和跟踪,并且在车辆跟踪的基础上提取其运动轨迹,最后通过建立摄像机模型进行成像变换,计算出车速。

The detection of vehicle speed is very important in collecting traffic information. By far, there are many detection methods which have been proposed. In this paper, the author introduces a method that uses the image processing technology to detect and track vehicles, and extracts the motion track of vehicles on the basis of tracking, and then figures out speed of vehicles through establishing the model of camera which is used to process imaging transformation.
