In this century, there are many institutions of higher education confronting how to improve the management. By using advanced management theory, it will make the reform of management in institutions of higher education more effectively. It analyses the applications of education ecology, education benchmarking and contingency theory in management. It will merit clcse attention as a valuable source of reference in reform of management.
