Today＇s world is a highly informatized society. Network impacts our life and works and brings us an extreme innovation, and various networking technologies and methods appear. VLAN, as a new technology, is widely used to build a network. This paper mainly introduces VLAN basic concept and key features, VLAN configuration method, and switching technology based on VLAN, information transformation, routing and communication between VLANs, and it analyzes and interprets VLAN technology. It expatiates VLAN basic principle, work process and guidance in practice.
