随着冗余时代的到来,冗余现象渗透到了文学、艺术、科学技术等各个领域,对建筑领域也产生了广泛、深远的影响。该文从冗余的概念出发,论述了冗余在建筑空间形成中的作用与意义,对功能主义的批判以及冗余空间是对当代空间模式类型的补充,最后提出冗余的研究应被纳入现代建筑空间理论的研究中,对提高空间效率及提升空间精神价值、空间的品质含义等方面具有积极的作用。

The redundancy phenomenon has penetrated into various fields with the arrival of redundancy age, such as literature, art, science and so on, and it also has great effect on architecture. This article begins with the concept of redundancy, discusses its effects and significance in the formation of architectural space, the criticism to functionalism and the complement to contemporary space mode by redundancy space, and proposes that the redundancy should be brought into the research of modern architectural space theory, and that it would play a positive role in improving spatial efficiency, spirit value and space, qualify, etc.
