Changzhou New District Central Park has a long and narrow strip of land and complicated functions. With the design idea of organic integration of architecture into landscape, a winding park road, with cultural and commercial buildings, square, park road, and the wavy terrain in one, runs through the park from south to north and creates a special featured landscape walk space. The forms of buildings conforms to the square, and the roof gardens as lhe main site space blend with the whole walk system, which makes the original narrow and flat place become multi-layered and function-interactive multi-dimension space lhrough vertical changes. In addition, the successful use of new architectural technologies and materials like Low-E glass and steel structure strengthened the image features of modern city park buildings.
