The Autumn Moon is Tan Dun＇s product when he studied in Central Conservatory of Music. Based on the cultural back- ground of Xiang Chu culture and the materials of folk music, this product combined with western modern creative skills so that this product is both with traditional national features and modern characteristics. By studying his style, the pianists should search for a proper way to play this song to gain a better expression.
