On Robert Bly's Imitation of the Classical Chinese Poetry

中国古典诗歌是美国"深层意象"派领袖罗伯特·勃莱的创作源泉之一。他非常喜爱中国古典诗歌,并在创作时有意识地借鉴了中国古典诗歌的结构、意象、意境、典故以及诗书画结合的多元整体艺术观等。勃莱的仿中国诗极富中国色彩,但是,由于中美文化的隔膜,这些诗歌并不真正具有中国古典诗歌的神韵。

Chinese classical poetry is one of the creation sources of Robert Bly, the leader of American Deep Image Movement. Bly loves Chinese classical Poetry very much and intentionally imitates the structure, image, artistic mood, allusion and the whole artistic framework of the integration of poem, calligraphy and painting. Although Bly＇ s imitation poems have the Chinese style, these poems lack the essence of Chinese classical poetry due to the differences of the Chinese and American culture.
