Quantitative Research on Non-compactness on Infinite Banach Spaces

摘要 从Banach空间单位球的有限覆盖出发,引入一个全新的空间指数R指数,用于定量刻画Banach空间的几何结构和拓扑特征.本文计算出了若干个经典Banach空间的R指数. Considering the compactness of finite spacers unit sphere and starting from finite covering of its unit ball, this article introduces a new index R-index and for classical infinite Banach spaces,and the R-index is calculated.
