改革开放以来,中国共产党以中国特色社会主义为主题,以当代中国发展为主旨,以改革开放为主线,以党的建设为关键,以解放思想为先导和前提,不断进行理论创新和实践探索,在不断探索和回答什么是社会主义、怎样建设社会主义,建设什么样的党、怎样建设党,实现什么样的发展、怎样发展这三大基本问题的过程中,逐步深化和丰富对共产党执政规律、社会主义建设规律、人类社会发展规律的认识,从而开辟了中国特色社会主义道路,形成了中国特色社会主义理论体系。
