《西北大学学报》95年回顾

A review on the 50 years of the Journal of Northwest University

通过文献考证和调研,对《西北大学学报》的历史沿革与地位、学术贡献与深远影响,以及管理与成就作了全面研究,并将其历史划分为晚清民初的酝酿和初创期(1903—1929)、抗日战争前后的艰难维持期(1930—1949)、20世纪50年代至90年代的恢复和稳定发展期(1950—1999)、21世纪以来纸—网互补的跨越式发展期(2000至今)等4个阶段。结论认为,《西北大学学报》:构筑了旧中国西北地区罕见的最高学术论坛,物化了学术立校的理念,成为传承周秦汉唐文明和创建西北新文化的渊薮;是西北大学的百年史册,反映了西北大学文化的深厚积淀,也是西北地区高等教育历史档案中最宝贵的珍藏;是西北大学学科生成的孵化器,也是学术人才成长的摇篮。今后,《西北大学学报》编辑部将进一步以信息化建设带动编辑部的科学化管理,强化期刊特色,提高编辑队伍素质,不懈地提高学报学术质量,不断扩大在国际范围的广泛传播。

Through the study of literatures and textual criticism, the historical evlution, academic achievements and far - reaching influence as well as management of the Journal of Northwest University were made an overall examination. Its history may be divided into the following stages： the initiative period of the late Qing dynasty and early period of the Republic of China （ 1903 - 1999 ） ; the difficuh times of Anti - Japanese War and later period （ 1930 - 1944 ） ; the period of restoration and development in the 50s - 90s of the 20th century and the period of development across from paper publication to network （2000 - ）. It may be concluded that the Journal of Northwest University plays a very important role in the following fields：starting the earliest academic forum in the old northwestern China, which helped raise the academic level of school ; substantializing the concept of building school with scholarship; serving as a center for studying the Zhou - Qin -Han - Tang civilizations ; being the chronicle of Northwest University＇s history with abundant cultural accumulation and the treasure of academic documents of higher institution in China＇s northwestern area and also the originating the University＇s branch of subjects and the cradle of nurturing the latented persons. The tasks of the Journal today is to strengthen its administration with information and in a scienlific way in order to enhance its advantagious features;improve the quality of edditorial staff and academic level as well as widen its dissemination in a global scope.
