弗洛姆的社会心理学思想是从分析人的自由困境出发来探寻人类获得自由的途径的,它是对人类追求自由本性的一种独特解读。主要包括自我发展理论、社会人格和社会动机理论三个方面的内容。弗洛姆的社会心理学思想对发达工业社会条件下社会心理机制的分析及其所提出的健全的人、健全的社会的设想,不仅对于发达工业社会诊治自身的弊病具有重要的意义,而且对于正在通过科学技术的发展而建设现代市场经济的中国也具有重要的借鉴意义。

Fromm＇s social psychology pursues a way in which human being gains freedom by analyzing difficult position of freedom of man. It is a unique answer of human being ＇ s natural character of seeking freedom. His thought mainly includes three aspects： development of self; social personality; social motive. Fromm＇ s thought of social psychology analyses tentative plan on perfect man and perfect society,which not only has important meaning for developed industrial society to make a diagnosis and give treatment for self＇s malady, but also has important reference for China to construct modern market economy by developing of science and technology.
