On the Role and Countermeasures of Education in the Construction of the Harmonious Society in Gansu

从甘肃省自然经济状况入手,利用近几年省内外高等教育招生方面的一系列数据,深入分析了甘肃教育现状及原因,并阐述了教育在构建和谐社会中的作用。探讨了构建和谐甘肃、实现教育公平应该采取的对策。提出了教育应与地方发展紧密结合,不断完善自我,以健康、公平、向上的文化教育模式,促进社会经济发展,构建和谐社会。

The current situation and problem of education in Gansu are thoroughly analyzed from the natural and economic situations of Gansu,making use of a series data of higher education in and out of the province in recent years. Meanwhile,the role of the education on the construction of a harmonious society is illustrated. Then the countermeasures to realize fair education and construct harmonious Gansu are discussed. Finally, some solutions are presented, such as the education should be in close connection with the local development and constantly improve itself. The education must keep a heahhy, fair and upward cultural and educational mode to promote economic development and build a harmonious society.
