毛泽东与邓小平的“三下三上”

邓小平一生的政治生涯中有过"三下三上",这都和毛泽东有直接或间接的关系,而毛泽东对邓小平的倚重,始终表现出一种特别的感情。1933年,邓小平坚定地和毛泽东站在一起,第一次"下"。从1935年到1966年,是毛泽东把邓小平提拔起来的第32年。从1966年到1973年复出,是邓小平的第二次"下"的8年。邓小平的"二上"是林彪事件后,毛泽东对"文化大革命"的错误有了一定醒悟,决定让邓小平重新出山。邓小平的"三下"是个"伟大的悲剧",但毛泽东最后还是保持了一定的清醒,他没有听从"四人帮"的意见,相反,保留了邓小平的党籍,"以观后效",为邓小平更辉煌的"三上"提供了前提。

There were ＂Three Downs and Three Ups＂ in deng Xiaoping＇ s political ife, which was directly or indirectly associated with Mao Zedong. Mao Zedong placed heavy reliance on Deng Xiaoping, to whom Mao Zedong had always shown special feelings. In 1933, Deng Xiaoping stood firmly with Mao Zedong, which resluted in his ＂First Down＂. From 1935 to 1966, Deng Xiaoping had been in power for 32 years. From 1966 to 1973, it was during the eight years that Deng Xiaoping was in his ＂Second Down＂. Deng Xiaoping＇ s ＂Second Up＂ followed Lin Biao Incident, when Mao Zedong came to realize his errors and ddecided to have Deng Xiaoping resume his position. Deng Xiaoping＇ s ＂Three Downs＂ was a ＂great tragedy＂. However, Mao Zedong finally kept sober-minded and didn＇t follow the opinions of The Gang of Four： Instead, Mao Zedong kept Deng Xiaoping＇ s Party membership to ＂see how he behaves＂, which offered a prerequisite for Deng Xiaoping＇s more splendid ＂Third Up＂.
