钢铁厂废物的减少和有效利用，对飞速发展的钢铁工业有着重要意义．它的产生和积累已经成为各钢铁生产国最为严重的资源浪费和环境污染源，本文介绍了美国对减少和有效利用钢铁厂废物所开展的工作和研究动态．
It is of great significance for developing the iron and steel industry to research mini mizing and effective utiliaing steel plant wastes. These waste materials have cause damage to our water, air or soils, and these wastes are recoverable resouce. In this paper, some works and research programs for recovery processing steel plant wastes in USA are introduced.
