Types of Modern Chinese Character Structure

本文从表音、表意功能的角度考察现代汉字的结构类型,首次提出现代汉字的结构类型应分为意符字、意音字、记号字和半记号字四类。

According to the functions of phonography and ideograph, this article firstly takes the view that the types of Modern Chinese Characters structure can be divided into four categories： semanteme character,semanteme-phonogram character, mark character and half-mark character.
