摘要
本文将探讨如何在园区网中利用组播技术实现流媒体传输。该论文的实验借助于路由器、以太网交换机,组建模拟园区网;在路由器上配置组播协议,实现路由器对数据包的组播转发。并利用RealPlayer、RealProducer lus、RealServer等软件组建一个完整的流媒体传输——接收系统。整个实验最终实现音频、视频在配置组播的模拟园区网内的流畅传输,并验证组播同单播相比在节省网络带宽和减轻组播服务器CPU及内存压力方面的优势。
This article is to introduce how to realize Streaming media transmission by multicast technology in an areal net,a campus net for instance.the practice of this article is to simulate an areal net which is composed by Cisco routers,Cisco switches,and several PCs,this is to realize the Reuters's multicast by confined multicast agreement.And to build and completed streaming media sending-receiving system by software as RealPlayer,RealProducerPlus,Real Server.By the practice we realized an efficient and stable multicast of audio,video programs in the virtual campus net which manifests the advantages of Multicast technologies on reducing needs of networks and releasing the drang of servers CPU and memories.
