本文以本校图书馆馆藏为例,分析了建设馆藏农业期刊数据库的意义与优势,并对建库的基本原则、具体实施步骤与方法进行了详细的阐述。同时也说明了,加大力度开展农业馆藏数据库建设是农业院校图书馆延伸服务的有效途径。

The thesis analyzed the significance and the advantages of building agriculture periodical database by taking the author＇s college library collections for example. It stated the basic principles, the specific procedures and ways of how to build the library holdings database in detail. In the meanwhile, it stated that it was the efficient way for the agricultural college library to provide the more service by developing the agriculture library collections database as well.
