J.B.Foster's Ecological Critique of Capitalism

As an eco-Marxist, Foster makes a critique of capitalism thoroughly from the perspective of ecology. He holds that ecology is anti-capitalism, and capitalistic production mode is the root cause of the eco-crisis. He disagrees with the theories of ＂ limitedness of economic growth＂, ＂ natural capitalization＂ and eco-imperialism. He refutes the view that ＂technology can resolve the eco-environmental problems＂ and insists that without the fundamental change of the capitalist system, the eco-environmental crisis can never be relieved only through transformation of economic growth pattern and fast development of eco-technology.
