摘要
在一所大学,教学不仅是人才培养的基础性工作,而且是具有探索性、挑战性和创新性的工作。有价值的教学活动是创造性的学术活动。没有高质量教学的大学,就不是真正意义上的大学。世界上没有相同的两片树叶。斯坦福大学的成功经验,特别是教育理念与人才培养观念的创新值得我国理工科大学去思考:如何从教育教学入手,把大学办成有特色的人才辈出的摇篮。
Teaching is not only the basic work, but also the most exploratory, challenging and innovative work in a university. Valuable teaching activities are also the creative academic reasearch. A university would not be a true university without high-quality teaching. No two leaves in the world are exactly identical. The successor Standford Unversity, especially its success in the innovation of teaching and cultivation deserves our reflection on how to make our university the cradle for the talented students from the aspect of teaching.
