Heading digging in soft rock is a complicated work. Before starting digging, the position ＆ shape of heading must be determined. In the blasting work, attention must he paid to exactness of drillholes, explosive charging amount and footage. There is also special requirement on mode ＆ structurc of support. The treatment of base plate is essential. The whole digging course must be subject to strict organization ＆ management.
