本文首先通过整理普雷多克的早期成长与教育经历,归纳当时美国的社会文化背景以及重要建筑师对其所产生的影响;进而以普雷多克的两个前期主要作品——拉鲁兹社区与尼尔森美术中心为重点,深入介绍他的主要设计思想与方法,即设计应答气候、文化与环境,以及在精神上探索空间的运动感与丰富性。
By the introduction of Antoine Predock＇s early experience, the authors conclude the influence of American social-cultural context and several important figures on him. Then by analyzing two of his early works La Luz Community and Nelson Fine Arts Center, the authors introduce the primary design concerns of Predock＇s works： responding to the specific climate, culture and landscape, and exploring physical movement and richness in space.
