广州市越秀区解放中路旧城更新改造项目是在政府主导、没有开发商介入的全新开发模式下进行的一次岭南传统街区振兴的探索。在规划层面,采用了控制适宜的居住密度、融入岭南城市肌理等设计策略;在建筑设计层面,注意结合岭南气候条件和原址回迁居民多样化的居住面积要求精心设计,并努力建立新老建筑之间的和谐关系。

The renewal project of old city in Jiefangzong Road, Guangzhou is a kind of reconstruction practice of Lingnan traditional city in the new pattern of development which the government play the dominant role rather than the land agent. Therefore in the urban planning, we pay much attention to the feasible density of residential area and the harmony to the texture of the old city. In architectural design , we pay much attention to the adaptability to the local climate conditions and the complicated desire of local dwellers ,and try our best to achieve the harmony between the new buildings and the old ones.
