The experimental problem about acoustics in the 9^th Asia Physics Olympiad is introduced. The four aspects of the problem are as follows, measuring the characteristics of piezoelectric transducer; observing and explaining the phenomenon of ultrasonic interference, researching ultrasonic Doppler effect; ascertaining the threshold of audibility and resolving power. The analysis and solution are presented.
