By describing the conception of materiel environmental worthiness, we introduced a series of related conceptions about materiel environmental requirement, such as environmental worthiness requirement, environmental worthiness verification requirement, etc. and elaborated on their contents, differentiations and relations. Then the methods and processes of determining materiel life cycle environmental profile and environment requirement were put forward. Some examples were given on how to express the materiel environmental requirement.
