当前中国发展技术本科的意义与策略

Significance and Strategy on Development of Technology Undergraduate Education in Current China

技术本科即本科层次的技术教育。当前中国技术教育学历的最高层次仍然局限于大专,本科层次的技术教育有无发展必要是关系到中国学制在新的历史时期改革与发展的重要问题。这一问题在教育界形成了两种截然相反的观点,一种认为有必要发展技术本科;另一种则认为没有必要发展技术本科。当前中国经济、社会发展已对技术本科的发展提出了客观需求,因此目前所面临的问题不应当是技术本科是否要发展的问题,而是该如何发展的问题。

Technology undergraduate is undergraduate-level technical education. At present, the highest level of technical education in China is still limited to the college, and whether the development of un- dergraduate-level technical education is necessary is an important issue that relate to the reform and de- f velopment of China＇s education system in new historical period, and there exist two diametrically opposite r points of view in educational world to this issue, one view is that it is necessary to develop technology undergraduate; the other is that there is no need to develop technology undergraduate. We believe that China＇s current economic and social development have objective needs for developing technology undergraduate, so the current problems faced now should not be whether or not to develop technology undergraduate education, but how to develop it.
