The functional classification and the protection of existing ancient buildings in Chongqing’s ancient towns

按历史功能划分,重庆古镇中的古建筑遗存可分为军事遗址、场镇、道观、庄园、石刻、墓葬、牌祠、会馆等类型。这些古建筑在保护中尚有一些缺陷,有必要从整体上对其规划,并在分类、立法、重点项目、保护主体等方面予以完善。

Ancient building ruins of Chongqing can be divided into different types like military ruins, small towns, Taoist temples, manors, carved stones, tombs, ancestral halls and assembly halls according to their historical functions. There have not been complete protective measures so far, so it is necessary to make an overall plan and to complete the protection in the aspects of classification, legislation, key programs and main protective buildings .
