Dow Chemical Company lately signed an agreement with Sichuan university on cooperative development of high poly- mer technology. Counting Sichuan university,the number of cooperative universities of Dow Chemical in China exceeds the number of institutes partners in any other rising market.Growing China market has been positioned as global intellectual support for Dow Chemical. In fact,Great China Region is the third largest market for Dow Chemical,the sales revenue exceeded 3.3 billion USD in 2007.Up to now,Dow Chemical has invested over 500 million USD in Great China Region.Also,the company announced 400 million USD additional investment in 2006. In 2007,the CEO of Dow Chemical underscored the impor- tance of China market to Dow Chemical,as well as the their commitment to China.
