Metapragmatic Strategies in Conveying Implicature

在语言交际过程中，发话者需要把自己的交际意图准确无误地传达给受话者，从而使受话者对自己的意义做出准确地理解，以此达到交际的目的。作为语言交际的调节性原则，合作原则在很大程度上制约着意义表达的方式，特别是含意的传达。在语言交际过程中，发话者运用元语用策略来强化自己的交际意图或者抑制无意会话含意的产生。也就是说，发话者可以运用积极的元语用策略使会话含意得到强化或弱化，从而准确地传达自己的会话意图。

In the process of linguistic communication,the addresser is supposed to convey the communicative intention accurately to the addressee, and in so doing enables the addressee to accurately interpret what is communicated, so as to effect successful communication. As a regulative principle of linguistic communication,the Cooperative Principle constrains linguistic expression in a large measure, in particular, the conveyance of implicature. In the process of linguistic communication,the addresser employs metapragmatic strategies to reinforce the communicative intention or suppress the unintended implicature so as to convey the communicative intention successfully.
