摘要
通过从两个大型语料库(BNC和CLEC)提取数据,分析了一组英文同义词(w ish,hope,want)的使用情况。数据分析显示中国学生在使用这组同义词上,与英语本族语者还存在较大差异,主要体现在以下三个方面:词频分布,语义搭配,句法结构。
Analyzing data from two corpora: BNC and CLEC, the paper compares the use of a set of synonyms (wish, hope and want) used by Chinese EFL learners and native speakers. The result is that, on the use of this set of synonyms, there are great differences on three aspects: word frequency, semantic collocation, and syntactic structure.
