图书馆通过链接Blog建立网络学者文库,是走向开放的数字图书馆的有效途径之一。图书馆建立网络学者文库的可行性可以从几个方面来看:1、Blog已经成为许多学者自己的文库;2、Blog具有自由、开放、共享、互动、非商业化等与图书馆宗旨相一致的特点;3、虽然已经有许多学术网站挂着一些学者文献,但其规模无法满足读者需要;4、专业Blog网站虽然链接着许多学者Blog,但由于专业Blog网站主要面对的是大众,对学者文集的要求很低,所以也不适合读者的要求;5、图书馆既有对学者的凝聚力,又能取得读者的信任。所以,图书馆通过链接Blog建立网络学者文库是必要的,也是可行的。另外,图书馆还可以考虑通过链接Blog建立网络学术图库。

Through linking Blogs to develop online scholar library is one of the most effective way to the digital library. Feasibility of online scholar library development is discussed in this paper as following. First, Blogs already become library of many scholars. Second, Blogs have traits of free, open, interactive, and non-business which are the tenet of library. Third, websites published scholarly publications can＇t satisfy the need of reader. Fourth, the blog websites serving the general public can neither satisfy the need of reader. Fifth, library owns confidence of both the scholar and the reader. So, it is necessary for the library to develop the online scholar library. In addition, through links of Blog, library can also develop the online learning gallery.
