以间氯苯酚为原料,经乙酰化、Fries重排、O-甲基化和氧化反应合成了2-甲氧基-4-氯苯甲酸,总收率54.1%,纯度98.2%。

4-Chloro-2-methoxybenzoic acid in overall yield of 54.1% and purity of 98.2% was synthesized from 4-chlorophenol by acylation, Fries rearrangement, O-methylation, oxidation.
