As the last work of Magic Realism in Latin America, Isabel Allende＇ s famous work The Home of the Ghost undoubtedly has multiple themes. This paper will focus on the relationship between man＇ s desires and female＇ s fate, the life of the male protagonist and the end of the fiction. This paper will also try to prove that man＇ s aggressive desire and the resulting female physical and psychological damage is one important of The Home of the Ghost.
