Described five kinds of important trace elements of Panax qunquefolium in ten different producing areas.The close relationship between Panax qunquefolium in different producing areas and important trace elements was illustrated. Thereby,convincing testimony was supplied to evaluate scientificly and fairly quality of Panax qunquefolium .
