永昌县2003～2007年5岁以下儿童死亡原因监测分析

An analysis of cause of death of children below 5 years old in Yongchang county

目的探讨甘肃省永昌县5岁以下儿童死亡病因、死亡率及动态变化状况，为制定干预策略提供科学依据。方法对2003～2007年甘肃省永昌县5岁以下儿童死亡监测资料汇总、整理并进行回顾性分析。结果2003～2007年5岁以下儿童死亡率为16．65‰。前5位死因分别为早产和低出生体重、出生窒息、肺炎、先天异常和意外伤害。年龄构成显示新生儿死亡占83．60％，婴儿死亡占93．10％，1～4岁儿童死亡占6．90％。结论应提高保健服务质量，降低新生儿死亡率。

Objective To investigate cause of death , mortality rate and its dynamic situation of children below 5 years old in Yongehang county, Gansu province so as to provide scientific basis for working out interventions. Methods The monitoring data of death of children below 5 years old in Yongchang county, Gansu province in period from 2003 to 2007 were summed, sorted and analyzed retrospectively. Results In a period from 2003 to 2007, the mortality rate of children below 5 years old in Yongchang county was 16.65‰, the first five causes of death of the children were premature labor, low birth weight, neonatal asphyxia, pneumonia, congenital anomalies and accident injury. The age constituents of death of children were ： the neonatal mortality accounted for 83.60%, the infantile mortality accounted for 93.10% and the mortality of children aged 1 - 4 years old accounted for 6.90%. Conclusion The health service quality should be improved to reduce the neonatal mortality rate.
