Effect of Social Differentiations on Political Stability

改革开放以来,随着所有制结构和生产关系的不断调整,我国社会阶层分化日益明显,阶层结构发生了重大的变迁,给我国的政治稳定带来了十分复杂的影响。把握当前社会阶层的变化及其趋势,协调社会各阶层利益,整合社会资源,化解社会矛盾,维护社会稳定,是构建社会主义和谐社会的重要内容。没有稳定,一切都无从谈起。

With the constant adjustment to ownership structure and relation of production , social differentiations are becoming more and more obvious since China＇s reform and opening -up, and a significant change occurs, with complicated effect on its political stability. In order to build up a harmonious socialist society, it~ imperative to know better about the changing tendency of current social strata, balance the interests of different levels of so- cial strata, integrate social resources, settle social conflicts and maintain social stability. Without stability, there would be nothing else to be spoken of.
