"网络语言"是适用于网络世界的形义结合的符号系统和交流工具。它有着极强的生命力和自我调节功能,无需人为规范。它的语言特点符合汉语语汇的发展趋势,故随着网络的全民化,它将代表着汉语发展的方向。同时网络语言的符号性和拼音化趋势明显,符合语言文字不断简化的总体趋势,它将带动汉字体系逐步实现符号化、拼音化的改革。

＂ Network language＂ is the symbolic system of forms and meanings and the communication tools which applies to the images of the cyber world. It has strong vitality and selfregulatory function without human norms; and its linguistic characteristics are consistent with the developmental trend of Chinese vocabulary and the universal network. Therefore it will represent the developmental direction of Chinese. At the same time, the network language has an obvious trend of Symbolization and alphabet. In line with the language to simplify the overall trend, it will facilitate Chinese symbol on the way to realize gradually the reform of the Symbolization and alphabet.
