Information Security of 3GPP Network

3GPP网络在2G网络的基础上进行改进,针对3G系统的新特性,定义了更加完善的安全特征与安全服务;但是由于网络特性决定了安全问题在3G时代愈显突出,成为3GPP系统的核心问题之一。从讨论3GPP网络可能面临的安全威胁开始,阐述了3GPP的总体安全机制,并指出了3GPP网络安全特性的优缺点及改善其安全性的几种可能方向。

In this article, the security threats which 3GPP network might face are discussed, and the overall security mechanisms are expounds. At last, the author point out the advantages and disadvantages of 3GPP network security characteristics and propose several feasible solutions for 3GPP network.
