曾纪泽的中西文化关系思想略探

A Study of Zeng jize’ s Philosophy on Western and Chinese Cultures

曾纪泽是晚清著名的外交使臣,对中西文化的关系做过比较全面系统的思考。在科技方面,他认为"西学中源";在教育方面,他倡导"中西互补";在政商方面,他主张"酌采西制"。文章拟就这三个问题展开探讨,以期对全面认识晚清学人的中西文化观及其发展演变有所裨益。

One of the noted diplomats in the history of the late Qing Dynasty ,Zeng jize develops a series of ideas on western and Chinese cultures ,which consists of three parts as follows ：1）Westem science and technology root from ancient China;2）Westem and Chinese educational philosophies are mutually complementary ;3）Develop Chinese economy and politics when drawing on the experience of the proper western institutions .Probing into Zeng＇s ideas from the above levels ,the article attempts to illustrate more details about the scholars＇ philosophies of western and Chinese cultures so as to help fully understand the history of learning from western world.
