办学特色是在本源坚实的办学理念指引下形成的,是在大学历史发展过程中积累沉淀后凝炼而成,其集中体现在学科专业、制度安排、精神文化、人才培养质量等方面。办学特色要与社会形成良好的互动,与时俱进。一所大学要想办出自己的鲜明特色,必须处理好办学规模、学科设置、创新与传统、"象牙塔"与开放办学、国际化与本土化、政府管理与自主办学等关系问题。
