《牡丹亭》通过对日常礼仪、生活、游艺及生产等多方面女性习俗的描写和刻画,真实地展现了明代女性的社会处境和生活境况。这种对女性习俗的关注源于汤显祖对民间文化的深刻体蕴和对时代风尚的敏锐把握。
Through the description of the daily etiquette, the life, the game and the production and other feminine custom, Peony Pavilion has really displayed the female society situation and life condition in the Ming Dynasty. This kind of attention to feminine custom is from Tang Xianzu＇ s acute accumulation to folk cultural and the keen observation to the prevailing custom in his time.
